Terms of trade
Our terms differ little from any other professional photographer's, but it is important nonetheless to set them out here. Any work we undertake for you will, of course, be covered by its own contract, but these points are the basis we use in drawing those contracts up. Privacy:
We will never divulge your email, or any other personal details, to any third party; with the sole exception of shippers / couriers for the purpose of delivering prints etc. to you.
Weddings
- Our quote to you will include all elements we have agreed on and will not change once agreed.
- While we guarantee to make our best endeavours to provide the services ordered we accept no liability in any way for cancellation or degradation of the services due to causes outside our control.
- 10% of the total is required on booking; 50% of the balance 1 month before your wedding day and the remainder on commencement of photography on the day. The two deposits may be paid by cheque or bankers' draft, the final payment must be in cash. All deposits are non-refundable, even in the event of cancellation or postponement of the wedding, although in the event of postponement, if we are available for the new date, we will offer a 20% discount from our usual rates.
- Extra prints and other items can be purchased through our online shop, by 'phone or by letter (cheque/PO/banker's draft required if ordered by mail; online shop accepts all major credit and debit cards, which may also be used when ordering by 'phone). Orders will not be processed until cleared funds arrive in our account.
- Images will normally be available for viewing online within 5 days of the wedding (subject to network availability). Finished wedding albums, depending on type and size, may take up to 5 weeks to deliver.
- Unless otherwise arranged copyright on all wedding photographs remains with us, with a limited license granted to the client after three months for printing 5x7" prints from the disk supplied for that purpose.
- Implicit in all wedding photography contracts is an agreement by the client(s) that we may use any images for our own marketing purposes.
- The photographer(s) acting for Pavilion Photography will be the only professional photographers engaged or present with professional equipment during the hours contracted.

- Unless otherwise arranged copyright on all portrait photographs remains with us, with a limited license granted to the client for printing from any disks supplied for that purpose.
- Implicit in all portrait photography contracts is an agreement by the client(s) that we may use any images for our own marketing purposes.
Please note that final prints may not be exact colour matches to what you can see on your screen. This is for two reasons. Firstly, we take very great care to process our pictures to represent true colour and to this end we use professional screen calibration tools. Unless you have done this it is unlikely that your screen will show colours exactly the same as ours. Secondly, even if you have calibrated your screen, you are viewing this page in a web browser so, unless you are using Apple's Safari, your screen view is not being colour-managed.
Normally our print service is very fast, but please allow 21 days for delivery before you shout at us.
